i have been trying this out for a few months.. And I love it! I've hit pan and I'm waiting on my order to come in the post!

The texture of this powder is lovely and not talc like, it comes in an array of different shades and best of all it's only €4.00! The only thing is the lightest shade is like a nc30/35 from mac- so i wouldn't recommend this  lighter skin tones.


I Use mac face and body foundation and with this over the top, my skin looks healthy and doesn't look caked with powder.
This can be applied with the applicator provide to achieve a heavier coverage-but I use a brush and lightly use to set foundation.
I use Elf studio pressed powder in porcelain.

E.L.F Brush Shampoo

I ordered this from elf cosmetics online, i have used this on makeup brushes and my special fx brushes.
The brush shampoo was €4.00 for 4.1floz (120ml) ,which is excellent value.
What elf say about the product-

"An anti-bacterial brush cleanser for thorough cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Washes away traces of dirt, makeup, oil and debris from your brush while conditioning the hair to provide a clean and soft application for every use."

This smells similar to the brush cleaner without the alcohol twang.The shampoo like the brush cleaner has anti-bacteria properties in it. which is brilliant from a hygiene point of view.I found that this product doesn't really lather up,you can really notice the product being removed from the brush.
It does remove makeup from the bristles leaving them nice and soft when they dry. Using it on my foundation brush it didn't remove all the product first go,but i washed it a few times to remove all the residue of the foundation from the brush.


I wasn't too hopeful Using this on my special fx brushes, most of the special fx products are oil based ,so it makes brush cleaning more of a chore. The shampoo removed some of the special fx makeup, but it couldn't remove it all without using a lot of product. And, as i said, i didn't expect it to, its not designed for it.so i definitely wouldn't form an opinion on that. i washed both sets of brushes on the same day so i tried it out.


Overall this product is good, i will continue using it on my makeup brushes.

I ordered this from elf cosmetics, i have used the product enough to be able to write a review.

The brush cleaner was €4.00 for 8.5floz(250ml),which is excellent value.

"An anti-bacterial daily brush cleanser for quick cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Helps to keep your brushes lasting longer for extended use."

Finding a brush cleaner with an anti-bacterial agent in it is a difficult task, i haven't come across one yet, that's not to say that there isn't one on the market.
Brush cleaners can have a very alcoholic smell to them, but with Elf i don't mind the smell,its not too pungent.Use a little at a time and swirl brush in a tissue until the product has been removed from the brush bristles.If you use too much, the brush will take a while to dry.


This is a daily cleaner and will help you keep your brushes hygienic from day to day, or client to client.It is designed for spot cleaning, this does not clean your brushes thoroughly, you still must wash your brushes using shampoo, washing liquid etc. I have also tested out the E.L.F brush shampoo, so i will post a review next.


I am on my third bottle of this, because of the price i can use it to my hearts desire! I have this at home and in my kit. I think ELF offer a good product for an excellent price.

Cyan nail polish

This nail polish is brilliant! One coat and you have excellent colour payoff!

Two coats and the colour is so opaque.

The wear of the polish is excellent, i tried with a topcoat and just the polish itself.

Without a topcoat- 3days

With topcoat up to a week, even then it was minimal chipping.

I applied this polish to nails with a base coat.

I cant recommend these nail polishes enough. €2.50.. sure you can't go wrong.
